Software Outsourcing Summit, St-Petersburg, Russia - 07/01/2003 -

 Volia Software through its representative in Ukraine Softline company took part in the international forum of software developers " Software Outsourcing Summit" on June 25-28 in St-Petersburg, Russia.
One of the purposes of the organizing committee was selection of the best high-tech software solutions for demonstrating them during the largest international Software Outsourcing Summit 2003. Volia Software’s product for Rapid Application Design and Development "Megapolis™ Open Source 2.1" was among the winners of this contest. This product was the only one from Ukraine that was awarded.
The summit program also included conferences, round tables, seminars and other events that allowed the participants to share their experience on the outsourcing market as well as their vision of this industry. Volia Software was presented by Mr. Vyacheslav Loyko, Outsourcing Director of the company. He made a presentation of MEGAPOLIS™ OPEN SOURCE Project that is accessible for download. The presentation raised high interest among the participants – software development companies from Russia and abroad. Such aspects as Megapolis history, unique features, place in an application development lifecycle, architecture etc. were among the keystones of the presentation. The audience paid attention to the benefits of this product usage along with the future plans on its improvement. All these and many other questions regarding Megapolis Open Source project and Volia Software outsourcing services were discussed interactively during the Summit. |
